What makes our Waltershof so special? We like things warm, uncomplicated and a little bit different. You'll notice it in our rooms made of Ultental wood, over good food in good company and, at the latest, when we sit together after a fine winter's day. Add a decent portion of Wällnäss and snow spirit. Doesn't sound bad at all, does it?

After a day in the snow, there's nothing better than a little warmth. A few lengths in the indoor pool, a proper sweat in the Ultner Badln or simply enjoying the mountain air in the warm outdoor whirlpool.

Food & Drink

Gunter and his kitchen crew always come up with something special. With fine ingredients, mountain herbs from the Ulten Valley and a real love of cooking. Plus a good glass from our wine collection of over 700 labels. Enjoy!

Snow Mood

Fancy carving a few turns? The nearby Schwemmalm offers 25 kilometres of slopes. The Ultental valley is also wonderful to explore on snowshoes. And for a cosy stop along the way, there's always Opi Walters Schneebar!

Planning your winter holiday in Val d'Ultimo? Here you'll find the most important answers about getting here, your stay, booking and more. And if you still have questions, we're of course happy to help you personally!

On the day of arrival your room is ready from 2 pm (if you arrive after 8 pm, please let us know). On departure day you can enjoy your room until 11 am. For a surcharge of Euro 20.- per person, the wellness area can be used until the evening on the day of departure.

They are welcome in our hotel (except in the dining rooms and in the wellness area). We charge Euro 25.- per day including final cleaning.

You can pay your hotel bill until 8:00 pm on the day before departure and from 7:30 am on the day of departure. We accept EC cards, credit cards (except American Express and Diners) and cash up to an amount of Euro 4.999.-

When booking a room with breakfast only, Euro 10.- is deducted from the half board price.

The right of withdrawal as laid down in the Consumers' Code is not contemplated (Notification pursuant to Part III, Section III, Paragraph I of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumers' Code)) – however, we are willing to apply the following conditions for withdrawal: Cancellation until 30 days before the day of arrival: no costs. Cancellation from 29 to 15 days before the day of arrival: 30% of the agreed total price. Cancellation from 14 to 8 days before the day of arrival: 60% of the agreed total price. Cancellation within 7 days of arrival, in case of early departure or late arrival: 90% of the agreed total price. Our recommendation: The trip cancellation insurance from HOGAST. You find the link to take out the insurance in the booking confirmation.
